How would one make this Dark Light Torch?: Why Should anyone bother, we already have torches:īecause the amount of torches varies to light up an area, imagine if you will a single torch able to light up an area of up to 50 blocks away, the idea behind this being that while the torch has the regular feature, plus a reverse feature it can also be amplified in order to increase its effect. It's basically a reverse torch with the option of becoming a torch when the necessity comes along.
The idea behind this mod is to effectively eliminate the need of multiple torches to light up a small enclosed area, like a mob dungeon for example, a simple placement of said DL torch and a right click would switch the mode it was in, On would make it so all light in the area was reduced to pitch black darkness, off would make it so all dark in the area would be made light.
